Rosehips are a delightful and nutritious addition to the diet of small animals, offering a variety of health benefits. Packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, rosehips support a healthy immune system and can help protect against illness. Their natural anti-inflammatory properties can aid in soothing digestive issues and promoting overall gut health. The sweet and tangy flavour of rosehips is appealing to many pets, making them a tasty treat that encourages exploration and foraging behaviours. Additionally, the fibre content in rosehips supports healthy digestion. Overall, incorporating rosehips into your small animal's diet can boost their well-being while providing a delicious and healthful snack!
Please note, like with all botanicals and herbs, it’s best to introduce them slowly to your pet’s diet to keep things easy on their tummy. Dried fruit and veggies should just be a part of a balanced diet, not the whole thing.

Look and smell amazing. Unfortunately my guinea pigs don't seem to like them.
I would have really liked to have made a sponge cake with the marigolds on top of some icing and the rose hips for decoration...how come my buns get to eat the good stuff?.
Can't believe how much I actually got for my money and looks good and Hobi & Mizla reckoned it tasted good too!
They've already let me know their preferences so the next order is in the making.Great idea and brilliant variety for the money.
The Importance of Treats in Your Small Animal’s Diet
Treats play an important role in your small animal’s overall wellbeing when offered in the right way. More than just a tasty extra, healthy treats can provide mental stimulation, encourage natural foraging behaviours, and help build positive bonds between you and your pet. They can also be a great way to introduce variety and deliver beneficial nutrients alongside a balanced daily diet. Choosing natural, species-appropriate treats—and feeding them in moderation—ensures your small animal enjoys both the flavour and the health benefits, without compromising their nutritional needs.
Can my pet eat these?
We have carefully curated our pet treats and whilst not all treats are suitable for all, hopefully our checklist helps.
